For the last few years our CEO, Paul Swaddle, has been involved as a Board member for Byte Night in the Thames Valley. This is an IT Sector fundraising evening for Action for Children, a charity that works with over 50,000 children and young people of all ages helping protect and nurture children, young people and families who face incredibly difficult situations. Last year Byte Night raised £4.3M and this year hopes to raise £5m. Paul Swaddle had the following to say on why he supports Byte Night:
“I was shocked to hear some of the terrible stories of the abuse and neglect that some child in our society suffer, the difference for me was the personal tales of recovery and triumph that Action for Children enable. That is why I and Pocket App are supporting Byte Night 2012.
