Contrary to some reports doing the rounds, we believe that the brand new iOS 7 from Apple will launch as planned. The iOS 7 is being touted as a major overhaul in terms of design & is expected to reach consumers by September 2013. Jonathan Ive Apple Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, is leading the iOS 7 revamp. According to sources, major components of the overhaul include a face lift to the UI & some important changes to core applications like e-mail & calendar.
The new iOS might also give up design hallmarks like linen-textured grey backgrounds, wooden bookshelves and spiral-bound notebooks for something even more exciting & beautiful.
In fact, the Mac development team has also joined the cause of iOS 7 so that it gets completed in time for Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference starting on June 10th in San Francisco. We could also see Apple delay some new software improvements and roll them out as future updates of the iOS.
As Apple once again looks to solidify its dominance of the smartphone market, this might just be the most important software update in the company’s history. Developers & customers alike are eagerly waiting to see what Apple has in store for them. We at Pocket App will, like always keep a keen eye out on all the changes & will adapt to deliver your application on the iOS 7.
