Whats new in the iOS 8.4?

Apple released its highly anticipated iOS 8.4 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The iPhone 6 iOS 8.4 update was first confirmed back in April thanks to a release into Apple’s beta program for testers. The update remained off limits to the general public until this past week when Apple took it out of beta and released it all around the world.

Apple’s new music application which includes the company’s new Apple Music platform. This is the most important feature with iOS 8.4. Apple Music is new streaming music service, which competes directly with Spotify, Rdio and others. Until now, the only way to listen to songs on demand through iTunes was to pay for tracks individually. Although Apple added streaming songs as an option with iTunes Match in 2011, it was limited to tracks already purchased or ripped from CDs. Apple later added a Pandora-like streaming radio service called iTunes Radio.
